Alex McKenzie
Gulf Sand Home Inspection is owned by Florida licensed home inspector Alex McKenzie. Alex is a second generation home inspector who has been working in the industry for five years.
He believes that the keys to running a successful home inspection business are paying outstanding attention to detail and remaining dedicated to offering the very best customer service. He is passionate about the work he does, and he loves getting to help the Florida community better understand their homes and navigate their important real estate investments.
His client is his number one priority, so he remains focused on each of their unique priorities and concerns as he approaches every home inspection he performs. Outside of work, Alex enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and often does inspections for their homes. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

Corey Stevens
Corey has been a Florida licensed home inspector since 2018 with many years of real estate, construction and remodeling experience prior to becoming a home inspector. Specializing in real estate and insurance inspections he has worked in residential remodeling, historic building restoration, commercial construction, tiny home construction and manufactured home inspection. Corey has performed hundreds of home inspections in the Sarasota area with hundreds of satisfied clients. Word of mouth referrals from one customer to another is the priority for Corey as Gulf Sand Home Inspection continues to grow and offer more inspection services to meet the needs of homebuyers and homeowners in the Southwest Florida area.
Corey enjoys sharing knowledge and experience to help his clients make the best possible decisions for the purchase or sale of a home. He leaves no question unanswered during the home inspection and goes above and beyond to help meet his clients needs for quick scheduling and turnaround times for real estate transactions and insurance inspections.
Outside of work Corey volunteers as a coach with Sarasota Cal Ripken Baseball and sings bass in the Church of Palms Chancel Choir (Televised every Sunday at 9am on Comcast Channel #189).
